What is the INPUT project?
Input is a charity based in the West of Scotland. We provide Preparation for Work for Adults with Learning Difficulties.
Our trainees recycle donated used computers for use by the local community. Through these tasks a work ethos is developed and instilled.
Who came up with the idea?
Neil and Stuart, two ex-James Watt lecturers.
How long has the project been running?
We Have been up and running for a year and a half.
Who is in charge?
Input has a board of trustees made up of community leaders from across a wide range of skills. Stuart is the director and manager.
How do you raise funds?
Input is a charity and we very much rely on donations to keep us going.
How many trainees do you have?
Input has had around 50 trainees on its books.
